Habitat rug has a modern border inspired by the Art Deco Movement and is made of natural undyed New Zealand wool with a white flax cut pile field with clean lines creating a border with contrasting widths of thin flax and raised dull silk.

Whisper rug is an organic take on plaid, made from a mixture of dull silk and flax raised cut pile on a natural undyed New Zealand wool that is mixed with white flax.

Crosby Street Studios introduces the new hand-tufted Capsule Collection, Haven composed of sophisticated but simple designs in a calming color palette consisting of creamy whites, greiges, and taupe’s accented by gray-blue, burnt orange and bold chartreuse. These custom rugs are perfect for creating relaxing interiors for living rooms.
The custom rug collection consists of ten designs made from a mix of fibers including natural and Luxe Nylon giving the qualities a looser and softer feel. Each design has a different inspiration from the Art Deco border treatment in Habitat, Mid Century geometric pattern of Dwell, narrow stripes of Placid, the paper collage patterns of Sanctuary, an organic plaid pattern of Whisper, and even water rippling on a lake for Serene.
The collection is composed of three color groupings of whites, blues, and oranges. Many of the designs share a subtle texture play between the size and content of the fibers in the field and on the surface creating different dimensions. Whisper, Hush, and Lull use a combination of the white flax fiber and dull reflective silk to develop contrasts within the design and a play on different colors of white.
Placid uses natural undyed New Zealand wool mixed with rows of tufted blue-gray Luxe Nylon and flax raised cut pile. Serene is tufted with a semi-worsted wool and flax loop pile with the design in silk and flax raised cut pile in a color palette of taupe with accents of burnt orange and bold chartreuse. These fiber combinations illuminate each rug and brighten the natural wool.
