Crosby Street Studios introduces our newest capsule collection, Geometrics II, of hand-knotted rugs in seven designs all celebrating the iconic architecture, design and famous streets of New York City.

Gramercy-Eggshell, hand-knotted rug with handspun Tibetan wool and silk. This rug is made all in the same color, and the design plays with pile heights and fibers in cut pile soumak creating different effects of sheen in the design.

Amsterdam-East Coast, hand-knotted rug using hand spun Tibetan wool and silk cut pile with soumak lines.

Broadway-River, hand-knotted rug with handspun Tibetan wool, soumak background and silk raised cut pile design lines.

Chelsea-Seaworthy, hand-knotted rug made from wild silk.

Madison-Opulent, hand-knotted rug made from handspun Tibetan wool soumak in the background and silk raised cut pile fretwork design.
Each of these rugs are hand-knotted using varying color combinations, constructions, and pile heights and made of hand-spun Tibetan wool, silk, wild silk, and soumak. The designs in this collection, which include Amsterdam, Broadway, Chelsea, Gramercy, Lexington, Madison and Sutton, are an ode to the New York City landscape and are available in two or three color variations, but can be custom made to order.
